Your group will embark in a fleet of luxury vehicles to drive on the Transfagarasan Highway, which is an extraordinary 90km stretch of tarmac road, full of dramatic, twists, turns and loops through the Fagaras Mountains to view the Balea glacial lake at the top. On the way, we will look out for the cute brown bears, the national animal of Romania.
- Day Trip to the Danube Delta
Departing from Tulcea, in your private slow motorboat, in 15 minutes you are winding through the small channels and lakes of the Danube Delta, seeing prolific birdlife. Enjoy a coffee stop in Mila23 village and then arrive at Letea village where a safari vehicle will take you for a visit to the Letea forest. You will enjoy a picnic lunch or a traditional fish lunch with a local family and then take the slow boat back to Tulcea.
