The most anticipated new hotel is the luxury 5* Athens Capital Hotel MGallery on central Syntagma Square. This Accor branded hotel is set to open in April. The owners, Lampsa Hellenic Hotel Group, have invested some 22 million euros in the restoration and renovation of the 1950s building which once housed the historic Kings Palace Hotel. It will feature 158 room and 19 suites, 4 meeting rooms with the largest seating 120 schoolroom and 90 banquet style and a rooftop swimming pool with panoramic views.
