Sava Center, the versatile congress center located in the heart of the central business district of New Belgrade, is open after its first phase of reconstruction. It is in close proximity to the hotel area, providing access to over 7,000 hotel rooms. The Crowne Plaza Hotel, with 387 rooms and 29 suites, is directly connected to the congress center.
Whether it’s a small meeting, conference, seminar, product launch, gala evening, or a congress with thousands of participants, you can find your ideal space in Sava Center. Covering an area of 100,000 m², Sava Center is one of Belgrade’s most significant modern architecture landmarks. Conceived by architect Stojan Maksimović and opened in 1977, it was nominated for the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize, often referred to as the “Oscar of Architecture.” When complete, it will have 46 conference halls, an exhibition area, restaurants, bars, offices, and shops. It is committed to sustainability and has received BREEAM certification.
Congress Area: The main functional unit of Sava Center includes spaces of various sizes and purposes from private rooms with a capacity of up to 25 people to conference rooms that can accommodate up to 1,200 participants. The main congress hall, adorned with impressive preserved tapestries, has a capacity of 1,200 participants and can be divided into three smaller halls. It is perfect for large congresses and gatherings. Additionally, Sava Center features spacious registration areas with long corridors, an atrium, and a wide selection of green terraces, providing visitors with perfect spaces for networking and other activities during events.
Immersive Hall: The future has arrived, bringing along the opportunity to immerse yourself in the digital realm. On offer is the Immersive Hall for a completely futuristic digital experience. This is the only such hall in the region, and with its impressive 900 m², it is also one of the largest in the world. Sophisticated audio video projections on all walls allows the organizer to fully customize the theme and projection content without limitation.
