Munich is the capital city of Bavaria and the third-largest city in Germany. It lies about 50 km north of the edge of the Alps and along the Isar River, which flows through the middle of the city. - A guided visit to Bavaria’s traditional breweries. You will visit historic brewers such as Augustiner-Bräu where monks started brewing beer in 1328 and Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu. Here you will get to taste the differences between Pils, Weissbier, Helles, Märzen, Dunkels and Bock.
- Tour one of the world’s most iconic football stadiums, the Allianz Arena – home of FC Bayern Munich. Get a private look behind the scenes, visit the FC museum, walk the terraces and down the tunnel and into the players change rooms for a great photo opportunity. Possibly watch a live match if you are lucky!
- Take a fun Munich Cycle Tour – great for team building. Taking the Isar River route, you will see the surfers on the Eisbach wave, Hofgarten and the Chinese Tower. The highlight is the 6km route through Englischer Garten (English Garden), built in 1798 and one of the largest urban parks in the world. In true Munich tradition, you will stop for a cold beer at Hirschau beer garden.
- Tour to BMW World – home of the famous German automobile. Here you will visit the BMW museum with its impressive collection of cars and motorbikes, learning all about BMW and its historic growth. Smaller groups can also enjoy a private tour of the production facility, where 900 cars and 1400 engines are manufactured each day.

- Obatzda is a Bavarian cheese delicacy. Made with aged cheese, butter, beer and paprika, it is best enjoyed with a bretzle (pretzel).
- Pichelsteiner stew from south-east Bavaria – a heart-warming stew of different meats, vegetables and potatoes.

Top tip: Take time to explore Munich’s surrounding countryside. Ride through the Bavarian forests, visit the most iconic castle in Europe – Neuschwanstein Castle. Or visit Linderhof Palace and Rothenburg ob der Tauber on the Romantic Road – one of Europe’s most well-preserved towns and without a doubt one of the most picturesque towns in the world. Its streets are lined with pastel-coloured, fairy-tale timbered buildings and pretty churches.
