Sweet and sour, salty, bitter, and umami can all be present in a flavoursome Iranian dish. Meat, pomegranate, nuts, onion, and butter can also easily find their way into a single Iranian dish!
  • Climb Mountain Damavand (5 610m), the highest and most famous mount in the Middle East, that is at the heart of Persian mythology on of our trekking adventures. It starts out with a day to explore and destress in Tehran and then it’s off to hit the international slopes of Dizin and Shemshak Ski Resort and Complex.
  • Enjoy staying in the Caravansary style at our Matinabad eco-resort and organic farm in the central desert of Iran, the first and only desert eco-camp in Iran. Here you will experience unforgettable adventures up close with the locals and the desert nature. • Visit tombs of the most influential figures of Persian science, poetry, and wisdom: Saadi, Hafez, Omar Khayyam, Avicenna, Ferdowsi (Rumi is not buried in Iran). These tombs are typically considered holy places for Iranians. They are also important architectural and artistic sites which are visited by many.
  • Get lost in the beauty of the North of Iran – the Hyrcanian forests, extending 850 km along the northern slope of the Alborz Mountains, located on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea. These ancient broad-leaved forests date back to 25 to 50 million years ago and have survived from the last ice age on Earth.
