Barcelona Bike Tour and Wine & Cheese Tasting
MTZ Destination Management Company, our DMC in Spain, is offering a great new small group activity – a Barcelona electric bike tour with wine and tapas tasting
Discover the city of Barcelona in a different way during a bike tour! You will get to know the oldest part of the city, visit hidden squares, the Gothic Quarter and the so-called “heart” of Barcelona. Pedal past Frank Gehry’s Golden Fish sculpture, and head into La Ribera to snap photos of Gothic Cathedral Santa Maria. Then it’s on to “Plaça Reial“ (“Square of the King”), as well as the world-famous “Las Ramblas” and the gigantic monument of Christopher Columbus.
Cycle alongside the beaches of Port Vell including the magnificent W hotel which is built as if it was a sailing boat, and then cycle down to the Olympic Harbour, with its skyscrapers, Arts and Mapfre towers. Visit Ciutadella Park, the largest green area in downtown Barcelona. This park is home to the Barcelona Zoo and the Parliament of Catalonia.
Once your riding is done, it’s time to visit an elegant wine shop where you will enjoy delicious Spanish wine and Manchego cheese and cured meat tapas.
