Djibouti Macrobia Expeditions

Your Local DMC in Djibouti from Lake Assal to the Gulf of Tadjoura

Macrobia Expeditions is a local DMC in Djibouti, providing tailor-made tours, ground handling, corporate travel and MICE services from its office in Djibouti City. It works with international tour operators, travel agencies, organisations and groups, and also runs combined itineraries with Somaliland.

Our journeys cover Djibouti City, Lake Assal, Lake Abbé, the Gulf of Tadjoura and Moucha and Maskali islands, as well as some of Djibouti’s more remote areas. From about November to February, we arrange whale shark snorkelling in the Gulf of Tadjoura. We also organise specialist wildlife and birdwatching tours.

Our services include itinerary planning, airport assistance, accommodation, vehicles with professional drivers, local guides and complete in-country logistics. We also organise meetings, incentive travel, conferences and events.

Much of Djibouti’s best scenery lies along long desert and volcanic routes, so our experienced local staff handle logistics, timing and communication. Safety and personal service are key in everything we do.
