Below are just a few of our sample programs which can be tailormade to your requirements.
CLASSIC NAMIBIA TOUR – 12 nights
Highlights:
- Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon. The Sossusvlei is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mesmerising red sand dunes and stark landscapes. With up to 380 meters difference in altitude, the dunes are among the highest in the world. Especially in the morning and late afternoon sun, the colour and shadows of the dunes create a fascinating spectacle.
- Hot Air Ballooning over the NamiBrand Nature Reserve, the largest private nature reserve in Southern Africa and an increasingly popular travel destination due to its diverse desert landscapes.
- Drive through the Namib Naukluft Park, where the mysterious “Welwitschia mirabilis” plant can be found. You also get to see the impressive canyons of the Moon Landscape.
- Kayaking Pelican Point in Walvis Bay with the seals
- Walking tour of the beautiful Swakopmund Town with its German architecture.
- Damaraland is home to ancient rock art and beautiful, wild landscapes. You’ll also find one of Africa’s largest populations of free-roaming black rhinos and Namibia’s famous desert elephants. SOSSUS & HOANIB – 6 nights
- NamibRand Nature Reserve – 3 nights – Stay at Kwesi Dunes
Founded to conserve the unique environment and wildlife species of the south-western Namib Desert, the NamibRand’s mix of dunes, mountains, rocky outcrops, sandy flats and gravel plains provides habitats for a diversity of mammals – including hyenas, jackals, foxes, antelopes and various wild cats – as well as a plethora of bird species, reptiles, insects, frogs and flora. Discover the mysterious ‘fairy circles’ which dot the landscape and sip on sundowners while watching the sunset over this unspoilt ancient landscape. Named as Africa’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, it is one of the least light-polluted areas in the world, so don’t miss this excellent star gazing opportunity.
- Hoanib River – 3 nights – Stay at the Wilderness Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp
The 270-kilometre-long Hoanib River is one of the last water oases in the country, providing a haven for numerous animals. Home to 75% of Namibia’s endemic species, including the largest numbers of desert-adapted, free-roaming elephants, lions, and rhinos in the world, as well as zebra, kudu, and giraffe, this is a truly exceptional and awe-inspiring place. Take a wonderful four-wheel-drive route, go on adventurous hiking trails, run down enormous sand dunes, climb massive, strangely shaped rock formations or take a guided nature walk.

SMALL CLASSIC NAMIBIA – 6 nights
- Namib Desert – 1 night – Stay at Namib’s Valley of a Thousand Hills/Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge/Bullsport Lodge
The Namib is the world’s oldest desert and refers to the vast sea of sand from Luderitz to Swakopmund. For a big sandy desert, the scenery is remarkably varied, with the giant red dunes of Sossusvlei being the most famous. Because of how old it is, the Namib is home to numerous species that don’t occur elsewhere and although no humans live in the desert, an amazing array of flora and fauna survives here. Famous species include the Welwitschia – a living fossil plant, endemic chameleons, fur seals along the coast, brown hyenas, jackals and remarkably one of Africa’s largest antelope – the Gemsbok.
- Sesriem – 2 nights – Stay at Dead Valley Lodge/Hoodia Desert Lodge
As there is no accommodation at Sossusvlei, visitors to this desert wilderness stay at Sesriem, 65 kilometres away, where camps and lodges serve as a base from which to explore the dunes. Sesriem Canyon, a deep chasm carved through the rocks by water, is a striking natural feature of the area that is best explored on foot. Stony walls rise up sharply on both sides of the canyon, while birds roost in its crags and lizards dart along the ledges. The canyon’s name was coined when early settlers used it as a water source, using six lengths of leather (‘ses riem – six thongs) tied together to lower buckets into the water at the base of canyon.
- Walvis Bay – 1 night – Stay at Pelican Point Lodge
Walvis Bay (‘Whale Bay’) is a thriving town, Namibia’s principal harbour and one of the country’s most popular tourist centres. It is known for its natural lagoon, striking orange sand dunes and wealth of outdoor activities, including ocean adventure boat trips, fishing, bird-watching, sailing, sand boarding, swimming, surfing and golf. Located just outside town is Dune 7, one of the largest sand dunes in the world, offering fantastic views from the crest for those with the energy to climb it.
- Swakopmund – 1 night – Stay at Desert Breeze Lodge
Swakopmund is a buzzing town perched between the desert and the sea. Although its German heritage is prominent, the city is also thoroughly African and its multidimensional appeal means that most people end up staying longer than they planned. Palm-lined streets, seaside promenades, fine accommodation, a pleasant summer climate and decent beaches, Swakopmund is also Namibia’s leading adrenaline destination, with a wide range of activities to suit all ages: desert quad biking and sandboarding, parasailing, skydiving, hot-air ballooning, scenic flights, desert tours and more!
- Spitzkoppe – 1 night – Stay at Spitzkoppen Lodge
Spitzkoppe is a hiking and rock climber’s paradise with giant granite domes and amazing rock formations.
