Reunion Island is famous for its mountains and volcanoes and Terres Metisses DMC have some suggestions to include in your next corporate travel incentive, meeting, conference or family vacation to this adventure island.
Sunset cruise party
Your luxury catamaran Maloya, taking 100 pax, will depart Le Port and cruise along the blue waters of the North West coast, with the towering mountains and volcanoes in the distance. Lucky guests could see flying fish, dolphins and turtles. From Jun-Oct, many whales visit the coast of Reunion and the boat has a hydrophone on board to hear the whale song from the depths below. As the sun sets over the ocean and the DJ plays lounge music, champagne, cocktails and tapas are served. The boat can be chartered to continue as a private night club in port or for smaller groups as a unique meeting or dinner venue at sea.
Diana Dea Lodge
All visitors make the day long tour to visit the beautiful East Coast and Piton de la Fournais. We suggest staying for 1 or 2 nights at Diana Dea Lodge to get close to nature. Located just 9km from Sainte-Anne, 650m above sea level and set in a 350 acre estate with free roaming deer, the Lodge has 30 rooms. It has sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and the entire East Coast of Reunion. Facilities include a spa, 2 hiking trails, heated pool, meeting room for 30 pax and private dining for 40 pax.
Other activities that can be arranged in the area by Terres Metisses DMC:
- Discover Reunion Vanilla with visits to Vanilla Cooperative and the plantations of Monsieur Roulof and Domaine du Grand Hazier.
- Visit the Savanna Distillery and Sucrerie de Bois Rouge.
- Visit the village of Hell-Bourg in Salazie and the Church of “Notre Dame des Laves”.
- Hiking in Takamaka or the volcano hike at Piton de La Fournaise.
