- Towering nearly 3000ft above sea level is the majestic peak of Gros Piton and its twin peak, Petit Piton. People travel from all over the world to visit this amazing landmark and UNESCO World Heritage Site that dominates the west coast. Both peaks have breathtaking views of the town of Soufriere, the Garden of St. Lucia. - Diamond Falls Botanical Garden is also located in Soufriere. A serene retreat from the outside world, this beautiful botanical garden is home to a stunning waterfall, mineral baths, and a variety of exotic plants and flowers. - Known as the “world’s only drive-in volcano”, Sulphur Springs is a unique natural attraction where visitors can see geothermal activity up close and take a dip in the therapeutic mud baths.
Must eat: The Naked Fisherman is famous for alfresco dining by the sea. We also recommend the renowned Dasheen restaurant overlooking the Pitons, Project Chocolat for cocoa flavored cuisine and Sea Salt restaurant nestled in the bustling IGY marina.
Best nightlife: There are many restaurants and bars to hang out where the atmosphere is fun and lively. Make sure you visit Rodney Bay Village for late night fun.
Best time to visit: St. Lucia is a great place to visit all year round as average temperature vary very little (84-87 degrees Fahrenheit). There are frequent short rain showers from June to October.
Top tip: Take a camera! Some of the world’s best pics are taken in St. Lucia. Let her welcome and inspire you! Jazz lovers visit during the annual St Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival in May and you’ll really feel the Caribbean vibe in July during the St Lucia Carnival.
