SIARGAO earned its name as the Surfing Capital of the Philippines due to its superb waves which are likened to “riding Cloud 9”. Guyam, Dako and Naked islands are must-see attractions when you visit. Siargao also boasts hidden lagoons, dense forests and excellent snorkelling opportunities. Siargao is a tear drop shaped island situated 800 kilometers southeast of Manila.

SICOGON ISLAND houses two new resort destinations in the Visayas Region.

• Balay Kogon opened its boutique bed and breakfast resort early last year with the use of “Cogon” grass as the indigenous design element. It welcomes visitors to the comfort of quaint rooms designed with tasteful Filipino architecture, warm hospitality and personalized service, sea-to-table home-cooked meals and an array of sea-to-summit adventures such as treks to Mt. The private airport at Sicogon Island will be operational towards the end of 2018 to bring tourists to this enchanting paradise.
