Levinsky Spice Market offers a colorful array of spices, dried fruits and nuts. Jaffa Flea Market, located in the old city of Jaffa, has a colorful trove of antiques, hand made items, unique restaurants and coffee shops where you can relax and watch the crowds go by. At night, the restaurants and bars become an exciting place to have fun, filled with people eating and the sounds of music played all evening.

- The Israeli breakfast is a culture unto itself. Eggs cooked different ways, a variety of fresh vegetable salads, hard and soft cheeses, fresh breads, yoghurts, fresh fruit and not forgetting Shakshuka, a mix of cooked tomatoes with red peppers, spices and eggs cooked on top. Today there are many varieties of shakshuka to try.
- Delicious street food such as falafel, hummus, shawarma and sabich. Make your way through Tel Aviv trying all the different hummus eateries and choose your favourite.
- If you’re a vegan, no worries, as Tel Aviv is the vegan capital of the world with many cafes and restaurants offering delicious local vegan dishes.
Best nightlife: Tel Aviv comes to life after dark. Many bars and nightclubs are open till the early hours of the morning from Jaffa all the way to the port of north Tel Aviv. Our favourites are Spicehaus, Sputnik and the Imperial Cocktail Bar.

- One of the biggest events of the year in Tel Aviv is the Gay Pride Week which takes places in June with events taking place every day and ending with the huge Gay Pride Parade. Join visitors from all over the world to celebrate and enjoy the energy of the city and this event together.
