Day 1 \u2013 Arrival in Blantyre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arrive at Chileka International Airport and meet your Orbis guide. Blantyre, at an altitude of around 1000 metres, has a wonderful climate with warm days and cool evenings. The city is surrounded by mountains, which provide a stunning backdrop to this bustling city.<\/p>\n

Accommodation at Game Haven Lodge within the beautiful 500-acre Chimwenya Game Park, one of Malawi\u2019s last remaining indigenous forests. Day 4 & 5 \u2013 Liwonde National Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Travel to Liwonde National Park, arriving for lunch at Mvuu Camp. Mvuu Camp is an excellent choice for those seeking the ultimate bush experience in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Situated at a spectacular vantage point on the banks of the iconic Shire River, Mvuu Camp offers a front-row seat to observe the diverse and thriving wildlife of Liwonde. Covering an impressive 580 sq. kilometers, the park is home to over 400 bird species and features a dense population of hippos, crocodiles and large numbers of elephants, along with a variety of antelope species. There are also frequent sightings of lions, cheetahs and servals, as well as occasional glimpses of the elusive Black Rhino.
