A new wellness experience is now also available for tourists in Sal Island. \u201cSalt & Wellbeing in Pedra do Lume saltimes\u201d is a morning excursion which takes us to the salt mines volcano in the north of the island to experience it from a new perspective. You start with a silent walk among the salt pans, followed by a 1-hour breathing session, sophrology, stretching and mindfulness meditation techniques over a salt structure. You also get time to enjoy floating in the natural salt pools or relaxing with a salt and algae treatment.<\/p>\n
