Established in 2015, 1 DMC World is a global network of professional Destination Management Companies and Tour Operators in 100+ countries. Companies that share the same ethics, creativity, values and client service standards underpinned by experience, expertise and all-round knowledge of their destinations. Most importantly, they meet our strict membership criteria to deliver professional MICE services to clients around the globe.
The founder and Marketing Director of 1 DMC World, Paul Stephen, has more than two decades of travel industry experience and has previously founded other DMC networks and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Event) companies. He is currently also a partner in DMC South Africa, a boutique Destination Management Company, managing inbound groups, meetings and incentive travel to South Africa.
Each DMC within the 1 DMC World network is privately owned, locally based and licensed; with almost all being owner-managed. Their hands-on management, local expert knowledge and professional service are complemented and supported by the joint marketing efforts and operational assistance that 1 DMC World offers.
